In March 2017, Keven was the first person to circumvent the entire archipelago in winter, alone and carrying all the necessary equipment on his back; a journey totaling 187km, which he completed in 4 days. On average, he walked 47km a day. So far, the Magdalen Islands remains Keven’s favourite place.
In May 2018, Keven biked 1800km in 13 days. He left Oromocto, N.B. alone to go to Blanc-Sablon, QC. Upon departure, he made a 100km detour to Saint John, N.B. due to a flood on Highway 2 between Oromocto and Moncton, N.B. He then biked to North Sydney, N.S., where he took the ferry to Port-aux-Basques, N.L. He then biked the west coast of Newfoundland to St. Barbe in just four and a half days.
Subsequently, he crossed to Blanc-Sablon where a surprise awaited him … snow! Keven then decided to change his route and wait to leave with the Bella-Desgagnés (the vessel serving the communities of the Lower North Shore) towards Rimouski, QC. He had to wait 3 days in Blanc-Sablon, since this boat comes only once a week. Once aboard the ferry, he took the opportunity to get to know locals and learn a little more about their culture. After 3 days aboard this ship, he landed at Rimouski and biked to his starting point.
In June 2018, shortly after biking east coast of Canada, Keven decided to pack his backpack with his packraft and fly alone to British Columbia. He took the opportunity to test this inflatable boat and discover the beauty of the Farwell Canyon, the Lake Williams area and the Eureka summit.
In November 2018, Keven ran 360km in 6 days, 6 ultra marathons in a row, to raise money for the Canadian Armed Forces’ “Soldier On” program. His journey is divided as follows:
Day 1: Military base of St-jean-sur-richelieu – Saint-Hyacinthe Armoury
Day 2: Saint-Hyacinthe Armoury – Drummondville Armoury
Day 3: Drummondville Armoury – Royal Canadian Legion branch of Victoriaville
Day 4: Royal Canadian Legion branch of Victoriaville – Trois-Rivières Armoury
Day 5 : Trois-Rivières Armoury – Aux Vieux Bardeaux Hotel
Day 6: Aux Vieux Bardeaux Hotel – Military base of Valcartier
